Locksmith pricing, explained
No hidden charges and no misleading "from" prices. You'll know the cost before any work starts.
What makes up the price
Call-out / attendance
The cost of getting a locksmith to you. It can be higher at night, at weekends and on bank holidays. You'll be told before anyone sets off.
Labour
The time and skill the job needs. A simple cylinder swap takes minutes. Replacing a uPVC mechanism or a forced door frame takes longer.
Replacement locks and parts
Only charged if parts are needed. Prices depend on the type and security rating, for example a basic cylinder compared with a TS007 3-star anti-snap cylinder.
Out-of-hours work
Late-night and holiday call-outs can cost more. We'll always say so up front.

Pricing questions
Will I know the price before work starts?
Yes. Your locksmith will tell you the price before starting, and nothing goes ahead until you agree.
Why don't you advertise a 'from' price?
Very low 'from' prices rarely reflect what customers actually pay. We'd rather give you an honest price for your job.
How can I pay?
Most locksmiths accept card as well as cash. Ask when you book.
